If you are unable to attend your scheduled Kaplan exam, you may be able to rearrange your exam depending on your qualification, exam type and the applicable booking window.
How do I reschedule my exam?
If you need to change your exam date, please contact Kaplan Student Services.
Do not rearrange your exam directly with Pearson or through your qualification provider's account where Kaplan has instructed you to make the change through Kaplan.
Kaplan will check your booking and confirm whether your exam can be rearranged.
How much notice do I need to give?
Kaplan requires a minimum of 5 clear working days' notice to make an exam change.
The following do not count towards the 5 working days:
- The day you request the change
- The day of your exam
We recommend contacting Student Services as early as possible if you know you cannot attend your scheduled exam.
CIMA Case Study exams
For CIMA Case Study exams, the 5-working-day change period is only available while the official exam registration/scheduling window is open.
Once the official scheduling window has closed, you will not be able to rearrange or cancel your Case Study exam.
What information do I need to provide?
When contacting Student Services, please provide:
- Full name
- Student or enrolment number
- Qualification
- Exam name
- Current exam date
- Preferred alternative date, if known
- Reason for requesting the change, if applicable
Providing these details helps us locate your booking and process your request more efficiently.
Can I cancel my exam?
Cancellation rules vary depending on the qualification and exam type.
For CIMA and certain other Kaplan exam bookings, cancelled exams may be non-refundable. Please contact Student Services before cancelling if you are unsure about the applicable terms.
Can I change my exam directly with Pearson?
No. Where Kaplan manages your exam booking, you should contact Kaplan to request the change rather than attempting to rearrange the exam directly with Pearson or through your qualification provider's account.
Making changes through the wrong channel may result in your exam being cancelled.
